About AlamSehat and How We Work

What this page covers

A plain explanation of who runs AlamSehat and what we will and will not tell you.

AlamSehat is an information site about natural supplements for men, run from Medan, North Sumatra. We are not a pharmacy and we do not sell from these pages. Our work is to explain what is on a label, compare formats, and give readers enough context to ask better questions, whether they buy from a neighborhood shop or an online seller.

The address and phone number in the footer are real, and a person reads what arrives there. That matters more than it sounds. Most of what circulates about vitamins and minerals for men arrives as packaging copy or a marketplace listing written to sell, so a reader rarely gets a calm second opinion on what a product actually contains.

We explain categories, not brands

Each page answers a narrow question about a format or an ingredient, then leaves the buying decision to you.

We write for non-specialists

The audience is a man standing in a shop aisle, not a nutritionist. Sentences stay short and terms get explained.

Why the site exists

Men's supplement shelves in Indonesia are crowded with similar packs and loud claims. A reader standing in a pharmacy, or scrolling a marketplace at night, has a hard time telling one product from another. We started AlamSehat to close part of that gap.

Each page answers a narrow question: what is in this category, how is it usually taken, and what should a buyer check first. We keep the language plain because a product label is already difficult enough without an editorial voice making it harder.

Questions we try to answer
What is inside

An ingredient list read out in plain terms, including what the amounts on the label actually cover for one day.

How it is taken

The usual serving rhythm for a format, what the label says about timing, and how storage and expiry notes are worded.

What to check

The few things worth reading on a pack before paying: amounts, batch information, and the Indonesian label text.

Where it stops

Anything that needs a qualified professional's judgement. We say so on the page instead of guessing an answer.

Who writes and reviews the pages

The site is maintained by a small editorial team in Medan. When we describe an ingredient, we work from the product label, supplier documents, and standard reference material on nutrients.

We are careful to separate what a label states from what a tradition claims, and we mark the difference in the text.

Label first

Ingredient names and amounts come from the pack itself, not from a marketing page or a reseller description.

Reference material

Where an ingredient has a standard description in nutrient references, we use it for the everyday explanation.

Thin evidence is named

When the material on an ingredient is mixed or limited, the page says so rather than smoothing it over.

Where we hand over

Topics that need medical judgement get a clear pointer to a doctor or pharmacist instead of an answer from us.

Two people usually touch a page before it goes up: one writes from the label and the references, a second reads it back for claims we cannot support. If you spot a sentence that sounds more confident than the source, that is exactly the kind of note we want.

How products reach these pages

A product is considered when a supplier or a reader sends the label, the ingredient list with amounts, and the batch information. Nothing is listed on the strength of a brochure or a phone call alone.

  1. The label arrives

A supplier or reader sends a photo of the pack plus the ingredient list with amounts. We ask for the batch information too, because it tells us which production run the pack belongs to.

  2. Three checks

We check that the Indonesian label is readable, that amounts are listed rather than hidden behind a proprietary blend, and that storage and expiry notes exist on the pack.

  3. Listed or not listed

Products that fail these checks are not listed, and a listing is not removed simply because a supplier asks. The full criteria live on the how we select products page.

  4. Reader corrections

If a pack you hold differs from a page, we treat that as a correction worth checking. Formulas change, and a reader is often the first to notice.

The limits we hold ourselves to

We do not claim that any supplement treats, prevents, or cures a condition. We do not publish invented statistics, awards, or customer stories. We do not describe products using medical titles or suggest that a capsule stands in for professional advice.

When the evidence for an ingredient is thin or mixed, we say that too, because a reader who learns to expect honesty will make better decisions than one who is flattered.

What we write

Ingredient names, amounts as printed, the usual serving rhythm for a format, and storage notes.

What we flag

Serving limits, timing notes, and any caution the pack itself prints on its label.

What we never do

Invent numbers, invent reviews, or dress up product information as professional advice.

These are not medicines. If you take prescription products, have a health condition, or are unsure whether a product suits you, speak with a doctor or pharmacist before you start.

Where our readers are

Most visits come from Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi, with a steady share from smaller cities where the nearest large pharmacy is a drive away. That shapes what we write.

Delivery options, cash on delivery coverage, and stock vary a lot outside Jakarta, so we avoid advice that assumes a big-city supply chain. We also write in English by choice, for readers who prefer it, while the product labels in your hand are usually in Indonesian. Where the two disagree, the label on the pack wins.

What this changes

No big-city assumptions

Pages describe formats and label reading, not stock levels at one chain of stores in one city.

What stays constant

Dosing language, checked

Amounts and timing notes appear as the label prints them, so you can compare a page with your own pack.

How to continue

Browse by category

Popular products for men sit in one place, sorted by format rather than by who paid for a spot.

What we are not

We are not a clinic, a pharmacy, or an online store. We do not provide personal health answers by email, and if a message asks us to interpret symptoms we point the sender to a qualified professional rather than guess.

That boundary protects readers, and it keeps the site focused on the job it can do well: clear product information about natural supplements for men, written so you can use it in a shop aisle.

How the site is funded and kept independent

The site carries no sponsored rankings. If a page mentions a format or an ingredient, it is because it belongs to the category being explained, not because someone paid for placement.

Commercial arrangements, where they exist, do not change the criteria on the selection page, and a product that fails those criteria stays out regardless. Readers who spot a listing that looks inconsistent with this can write to us and we will review it.

Contact and corrections

If a label on your pack differs from what a page describes, tell us. Formulas change, and a correction from a reader is often the fastest way we learn about it.

Messages are usually answered within a few working days.

What should I include when I report a label difference?

The product name, the batch number if you have it, and a photo of the label. With those three things we can compare the pack against the page and update the text if the formula has changed.

Do you answer questions about my own situation?

No. We explain what products contain and how a label is usually written. Questions about your own circumstances belong with a doctor or pharmacist, and we will say so rather than attempt an answer.

Can a supplier pay to appear on a page?

Placement is not for sale. A format or ingredient appears because it belongs in the category being explained, and the checks on the selection page apply to every product the same way.

Do you sell anything directly?

No. AlamSehat is an information site. You buy from a local shop or an online seller you trust; our job is to help you read what is on the pack before you pay for it.

Why is the site written in English?

It is a choice, made for readers who prefer it. Product labels in your hand are usually in Indonesian, so where a page and a pack disagree, trust the pack and tell us so we can look again.

Start with the category you actually need

Whether you are comparing energy and endurance supplements, everyday vitamins and minerals for men, or natural capsules for strength and vitality as part of a wider healthy lifestyle, the pages below keep the same level of detail.

AlamSehat publishes product information only. Nothing on this site is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
